    • By cash or cheque at the class on the due date.
    • By clicking the link on the emailed invoice to pay through Paypal.
    • By Direct Debit through Go-Cardless.
    • By BACS or direct banking online once you receive your invoice by email. Sort 83-28-13  Account 00739693

I have tried to give customers many options for paying fees, its up to you how you pay them & depends on what suits you.  Fees are always due on the 1st week of the 5 week block.

  2. When are my fees due?

Fees are due on the 1st week of the 5 week block.

  3. Who do I make the cheque payable to?

    Gymnastics With Nikki

  4. Can I pay my fees weekly?

Yes you can pay fees weekly until your child settles in. It will be a minimum of 2 weeks & a maximum of 6 weeks paying weekly until you are asked to pay your fees in a block of 5 weeks.  It depends where you start in the block.  If your child is off at this settling in period when you are paying fees weekly, you do not have to pay for the week missed.

After the settling in period you will have to pay your fees in a block of 5 weeks.  You are now paying for keeping your child`s space in the class whether they attend or not. No refunds will be given.

  5. When do I pay the Annual Membership?

The Annual Membership of £10.00 is payable with the 1st 5 week block payment of fees.  It will be renewed at that date annually within the block that the date falls.

  6. Does GWN offer any family discounts?

Yes we do... The 3rd child in a family is FREE and this is the youngest child.  The 1st & 2nd child have to pay full fees.

  7. When & how will I receive my invoice for fees?

Invoices are sent out by email 1 week before the fees are due.  This gives you 1 week to cancel the space if it is no longer required.  The space will then be offered to someone from the waiting list.

If you do not have an email address your invoice will be posted out to you.

  8. Can I get a refund? I have paid fees & my child no longer wants to attend?

You can only get a refund if you have paid fees & its BEFORE the start date of the 5 week block.  You are only asked to commit to 5 weeks at a time so please make sure before paying fees that your child is happy to still be attending for another 5 weeks.

  9. My child is under 5 years old, do you offer discounts for kids under 5 years?

Yes I do offer a discount for children under 5 years old but this is unfortunately only available at classes at the West Kirk church hall on a Sunday.  Due to high rent costs at Calderglen High School on a Tuesday this discount cant be offered.

  10. I really want to pay fees by Direct Debit. How can I set this up?

All you have to do is inform me that you want to pay by direct debit & I will send you the direct debit mandate by email.  The direct debit can be adjusted for each block of fees & amended to suit what is due.  Your fees will be paid on the day they are due with no need to worry or remember about them. I will remind you 1 week before that payment will be taken.

  11. My child will not be at class on the 1st week of the block. Can I pay them the following week?

Yes this is acceptable provided you have let me know.

What would be preferable is to pay fees via Paypal or BACS or send a cheque to N Miller at 186 Sandpiper Drive, East Kilbride G75 8UW.

If your child does not attend on the 2nd week of the block, your fees remain unpaid & you have not contacted me I will no longer hold your child`s space. Your space will be given to someone from the waiting list.

Fees outstanding will be 2 weeks & if you wish to return at a later date the balance will have to be cleared first before you will be offered a space.

    The badges cost £4.50 each.

It is £7.25 for Level 3 pre-school badge & certificate, Badge 1 & ALL Gold level awards as they all contain an additional medal along with the badge & certificate.

  2. How do I know when my child has passed a badge?

Have a look at yout child`s Test Sheet which is a shared file through DROPBOX. If your child has passed a badge, it will say YES beside the badge & also let you know what badges have been received.

To Pass level 1 Pre-school badge - Gymnast is required to pass 4 Action, 4 Balance & 4 Co-ordination moves.

To pass level 2 Pre-school badge - Gymnast is required to pass 7 action, 7 Balance & 7 Co-ordination moves.

Core badges 8 to 1 are passed when 7 out of the 10 skills are passed.

Have a look at the test sheet for the Advanced badges to see how many skills are required to pass these badges as it varies from badge to badge.

  3. Can I sew the badges on to my child`s leotard or GWN T-shirt?

    Yes you can.

Please feel free to sew the badges onto leotards or T-shirts if you wish.  I think it shows the gymnast`s achievements very well if the badges are worn on their gym wear.

Most people sew the badges down the arms of the leotard or on the back of the GWN T-shirt but whatever & where ever you think is fine.

  4. I have paid for my badge. When will my child receive it?

It will be presented to the gymnast at the end of the class the week after it is paid.

The badges are not brought every week as the certificates would end up in a bit of a state & its a lot to carry in every week.

If you know your child has passed a badge & you intend to purchase it the following week, have a word with me so that I can bring it with me the following week.  This is the only way you can pay a badge & receive it the same week.

  5. I have lost my badge. Can I purchase the badge only?

Yes you can.  To purchase the badge only costs £3.50

  6. I have lost my certificate. Can I purchase the certificate only?

Yes you can.  Certificates can be purchased for £1.00

  7. What are the methods of paying for badges?

Leotards

  1. When should I get my child a leotard?

As soon as your child is settled in the class you can purchase a leotard if you wish.  Buying a leotard is not compulsory but I would suggest waiting until they have settled in well... There is no rush.

  2. My child doesn`t want a leotard. Is it ok for them to wear shorts & T-shirt instead?

This is fine, I have no problem with this.  I want the gymnasts to feel comfortable at the class in what they are happy to wear.

  3. Where can I order a leotard?

You can get the leotards from Nikki.

Small sizes are usually in stock & larger adult sizes will be ordered on demand.

  4. I have a leotard I would like to sell on to someone else as it is still in good condition. Can you help me do this?

Yes I can. Fill in the form HERE & bring the leotard to the next class & I will sell the leotard on for you.

This is a great way of reducing the cost of purchasing a new leotard when your child needs a bigger size.  It is also good if you have not long purchased a leotard and your child decides to leave.  Many parents are very appreciative to receive a second hand leotard especially if they have more than 1 child attending classes or if they are not sure if their child/children will stay.
